Once again, Fred Astaire of Brookfield is proud to represent this year's stars at the Spotlight on Life Gala for the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin. The spotlight will shine brightly on Wisconsin's "Medical Stars." You will delight in watching professional and amateur dancers from Fred Astaire Dance Studios perform on behalf of each of Wisconsin's transplant centers:

  • Froedtert and Medical College of Wisconsin
  • Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center
  • Children's Hospital of Wisconsin
  • University of Wisconsin - Madison
    • The National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin is hosting the Spotlight on Life Gala on Saturday, Jan. 28 to shine the spotlight on the 1,700 men, women and children in Wisconsin who are still waiting for a life-saving transplant, and to draw attention to the critical need to increase organ, tissue, and eye donation.

The dancers' performances will pay tribute to the second chances that are made possible through the miracle of transplantation and the gift of organ donation. It has been a rewarding feeling to have seen our stars grow into truly seasoned dancers in such a short amount of time. Their hard work and dedication is an inspiration.

The Medical Stars representing the Brookfield studio are second time participate Dr. John Raymond dancing with Anneliece Velasco, Bob Duncan dancing with Emilia Goldberg, and Dr. Aaron Dall dancing with Anna Tomasini.

Proceeds from this special event will be used to support donation and transplantation awareness efforts, the NKF U.S. Transplant Games® and the transplant recipients, living donors and donor family members who make up TEAM WISCONSIN.
